Group rides and runs near you
Gruppeo is a free map for training together. Here you will find group rides, meaning arranged rides together on road bikes, gravel bikes and MTBs, longer bike tours and group runs. Anyone can create their own meetup and invite others, and anyone looking for company on a training session can join with one click.
How it works
- Find: Move the map to your area and click a pin. You will see the start time, meeting point, distance, pace, level, bike type and route.
- Join: Once you are logged in, you join with one click. The organiser can see who is coming, and you get an email if anything changes or the meetup is cancelled.
- Organise: Set the start on the map, draw the route or upload a GPX file, and set the pace and the maximum number of participants. You can repeat the meetup every week.
- Groups: A club or a regular crew can have its own group, either public or private with an invitation link.
Frequently asked questions
What is a group ride?
An arranged ride or training session together: the group meets at a set time in one place and rides a chosen route together. Rides can be fast on road bikes, relaxed and easy-going, on gravel, off-road on MTBs or longer, like a full-day bike tour.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. Gruppeo is free, non-commercial and ad-free.
Do I need an account?
Not to browse the map. To join a meetup or create your own, create an account: all you need is an email address and a nickname. The service is for adults only.
How do I find the right meetup for me?
Use the filters: cycling or running, level (from relaxed to fast), bike type (road, gravel, MTB, trekking), pace and whether the group waits for slower riders (no-drop).
Are there runs too?
Yes. Runs work just like rides; you give the pace in minutes per kilometre.
Where is Gruppeo available?
All over Europe. A meetup can be anywhere on the map, in the city, in the mountains or by the sea.
Who is responsible for a meetup?
Everyone takes part at their own risk; Gruppeo just helps you arrange to meet. Details are in the terms of use.
